Sundays for me are not particularly exciting. The quintessential sunday look for me consists of leggings and a long top.It has to be stylish of course! This is my chilled out Sunday look today.A neon lace top, black leggings, light blue wedges and a black sling bag.I’m also wearing a boho-inspired necklace. The hair also tells it all. It’s tied back…chilled out! 😀
This boho-inspired necklace was given to me as a gift by my friend Anatte.I love it!
Enjoy the last day of the weekend.I know I will.
I took these photos a few weeks ago. This is a look for our cold weather here in Kenya.A fur coat, leather leggings, a white top and electric blue heels I got recently. For me fur coats are not an everyday thing they’re majorly for events.
This photo was featured on Black Girls Killing It http://blackandkillingit.com/post/51636537986/more-at-winniethefashionista-wordpress-com :I hope your weeks are going ok so far.Apart from this cold,I’m great.
Over and out,Your favourite fashionista,

Heyys! So yesterday I attended a wedding. It was an outdoor wedding with lots of colour and unique things. It was between a nigerian guy(abeg!) and a luo lady.It was so awsome the cold couldn’t keep us down.Today I’m flooding this post with photos..hehe.Enjoy!
The wedding party making an entrance:
Beautiful bride in a mermaid style wedding dress:
Of course…The chrysler Limo.Would not be a nigerian or luo wedding without a chrysler limo 😀 …AND A RED CARPET!
Wedding party leaving. What I loved about this wedding is the tradition and the fact that they didn’t do the normal tuxedo or suit(which I have no problem with by the way). The guys wore vibrant ankara blazers and hats.Their shoes were also ankara…In true Nigerian fashion! Also notice how all the dudes are wearing either geek glasses or sunglasses. These guys had swag,eh! The ladies also looked lovely in their colour-blocked ensembles. They wore dark blue dresses and orange fascinators on their hair.
This is my mum.She was a matron:

My sister in a floral print romper, sheer stockings,a black sweater and black maryjanes.
I was in a purple satin dress with silver accents and some pleating.I actually wore this dress back in 2011 for my birthday party.Whoa! That’s 2 years…:
Have a lovely weeks guys!
Thank YOU for stopping by 🙂
Hey guys.Hope your weeks are proceeding well.Because I’ve been going to court for the past week I’ve been formally dressed.Today I went for a classic look-I wore a black tweed blazer, brown pants,a white blouse with ruffles and black pointed heels and some brown cat-eye sunglasses.Check out the shoulder pads on the blazer! 😀
Incase you’re wondering about the title,it’s courteous for lawyers in court to refer to each other as ”my learned friend”.Since I haven’t passed the bar yet ,I’m still a ”learning friend” haha! But I’m 1/3 way there.Lawyers are actually called ”learned friend” because in the past,to be a lawyer one had to have a degree in engineering and medicine! That’s completely bonkers 😀
Have an awsome week !

Hey guys.Hope everything is going well.I finally started my rounds in court and I’ve been wearing alot of blacks…We can ONLY wear blacks, greys, browns, navys and darkish colours…yo! I feel like it’s been a year of wearing suits and formal dresses when it’s only been 3…So,the past Sunday I met up with my friends at Java at The Junction for lunch just to catch up.Here are some of the photos:
This was me in a pink top, black satin and chiffon skirt and black patent heels with some pearls and studs.I was carrying a white chain bag(Which my true love gave to me ;-D)
Mel in a fab denim skater dress with rivets and a black belt, carrying a black sling bag.Gorge silver shoes too! 🙂 Very appropriate look for lunch with the girls.
Ckay in a fab monochrome skater skirt, white chiffon top, black leggings and grey flats. She’s accessorized with a great necklace, gorgeous belt, bangle and lime green earrings.Totally love it!🙂
Wendy went with a floral jumpsuit that I absolutely love,a black patent envelope clutch and black aldo multi-strap heels. They are so lovely.I kept asking her where and how she got the shoes.I want! 😀
Us goofing around at a clothing store.
A photo of all of us.It’s a bit blurry but hey.We still look awsoome! 😀 Look at us looking like we’re here for a movie premiere.haha! Also, the one thing all four of us are not missing is lipstick.Fabulous.
Have a great week guys.

Heyllow readers. Hope your weeks went well.Mine did, just had tons of errands and hey,I got a new hairdo! yay! 🙂 I’ve also been relaxing, enjoying my week…hectic times ahead! From next week I’ll be a scarce, busy lady.More about that later…
My fellow Kenyan fashion bloggers and I have been talking and we decided the thing we’re doing this ,month is at least a post on monochrome.Monochrome, like I said in one of my previous posts is something that is black and white. However, monochrome is also :The state of being in a single color.
This week on Thursday I was in red from top to bottom.Hence I was in a single colour…red.I wore a red chiffon shirt, red skinnies and black ankle-strap sandals.I’m sooo into sandals right now.Zara has a fab range of sandals.
Check out Olivia Palermo. This is a SMASHING monochrome look.Love it! It’s class on a whole other level. The se Pigalle Pumps (Louboutins )are to die for.So classy.I hope to own a pair one day.
I recreated my look here :
Enjoy the weekend dearies! 🙂
